What makes you passionate about your work at Shearwater Health?
A lot of reasons to be passionate about my job. First, it’s a blessing to be of help to the nurses and their family in getting them to the U.S. A blessing to lead my current team who tirelessly work to get things done and make that happen. Having a great team both in Manila and in the U.S. supporting each other and working together as ONE TEAM makes me feel great about my job.
What has been your favorite memory while working at Shearwater Health?
Being with the company for 15 years, I just can’t pick one. There are so many great memories. I love the thought of helping nurses achieve their goals. Whenever they reach a certain milestone in their process like passing NCLEX or reaching deployment, you will feel like you were part of their success. The gratefulness you will receive from them is heart melting. Then you feel rewarded that you are part of the team that made that happen.
If you could have any superpower, which would you choose and why?
Time travel! I’d like to have the chance to go back and have more time to spend with our lost loved ones. I just miss my papa so much! ….It will be also be great to have a peak in the future, to prepare for it and see what things I can do better at this time in my life.
